I always enjoy shopping at lowe's ,with the 10 % military discount that my husband gets ,small or big purchase it really saved us a lot of money.Shutters on all windows,refrigerator, microwave oven,etc for our house.
The absolute only place I will go to purchase my home needs. Staff is always attentive and helpful. Kudos for your Black Friday deals and being well staffed for the craziness this day brings.
Today's trip wasn't to bad. I realize Lowes is a big box store and tou get the,quality of lumber you pay for. Didn't spend anywhere near the time I usually do sorting lumber to find straight pieces. Overall a good visit.
We have spent thousands $ at Lowe's over the last few months and intended to spend even more in the future. Now, however, it seems to be doubtful. Firstly I must say the sales staff were excellent in all the department's. But the back office staff is another story completely. They don't know what's going on. You get twelve different stories about where your big purchase items are. They don't deliver when promised and then lose some of your stuff. You can't rely on them for anything. They don't even know how to work their own computers. Very frustrating. Started with the carpeting, should have taken that as the warning. I must, however, complement the people, who came to the house, delivery and installation. Very professional. But then they are independent contractors. It's not their fault if Lowe's does not have the product ready for delivery. That's why two stars.
Let me tell you about Lowe's and how absolutely inept they are. I have been working on a flooring project since Sept. It's end of November and I'm still awaiting product. First off, their customer service is the worse. In the many numerous times I've visited the desk I have never once been treated like anything other than a nuisance. I have had things ordered 4 times now, and never once has anyone ever called me. I speak to them about this problem... I get a shoulder shrug and the response "in the computer it shows someone called you". Once they gave me the wrong items because there were 3 people's names on a box. When I got it home I realized the mistake they made and bright it back. They made me sign a paper stating I received the item, but when I brought it back they wouldn't give me any paperwork showing I returned it to the store because "in the computer" it showed I was still owed the pieces. After a week of waiting for my pieces to actually arrive, I walk into the store to see what the status was. They said "you picked them up a few weeks ago". I went off. Then finally someone decided to just look in the back to see if a box with my name was back there. It was, they brought it to me and the stockman said "yeah it's been here for a week or so". Today I'm back in here because I expanded the project and needed one last item to finish it. Been waiting 2.5 weeks for something they said would be in in 5 days. No phone calls, just popped in to see if it was here. She said "yeah the computer says we called you". I'm over this!!! I said no, no one ever called me!! I just got a dead eyes look and she turned around and went about her business. No apologies, no willingness to find a solution. Just blank faced nothingness. Im never shopping this store again, and I'd HIGHLY recommend you never order anything from them. This project has taken me about a week to install, and approximately 2 months and a weeks of waiting on stuff. Go to home Depot or Menards
