IF YOU CHOOSE TO SKIP MY REVIEW AT LEAST READ THIS! DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE FROM FINISH LINE ESPECIALLY WITH ANY FORM OF PLASTIC PAYMENT AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU INFORMED ABOUT FREE SUBSCRIPTIONS TO SPORTS ILLUSTRATED OR ANY OTHER MAGAZINES ---BECAUSE FOR ME --- THEY WERE NOT FREE AND EVEN AFTER DECLINING THE OFFER 3 TIMES I WAS STILL CHARGED AND AM NOW HAVING TO DEAL WITH A TIMELY,DISTASTEFUL SITUATION OF DISPUTING UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS I DID NOT WANT BUT ARE PAYING FOR ANYHOW!

The finish line store at the green tree mall was good but provally not the best.

It wasn't but a month or so later I received an SI magazine in my mailbox. At first my thoughts were content with residing on the fact of Markayla just wanting to give out these magazines to people bc they were free. Thinking that that was just a person informing one of free things that may come of use. I planned to write SI telling them that I did not need the free subscriptions though and had decline so in the store anyhow.

Upon my checkout with cashier, Markayla, I was informed about a free one year subscription of Sports Illustrated that I had earned or qualified for (as she explained it) via my purchases. She stated that it was one year free of Sports Illustarted and Sports Illustrated for kids - each being one year of completely free subscriptions. I declined explaining they would not be of use to me. She then took the notion to say that there would be no charges and IF AND ONLY IF I wanted to continue my subscriptions after the free year that I would silly return the 11th moth postage paid postcard therefore choosing to continue the subscriptions and thus pay the continuation price shown. I again explained that I really have no use for them even stating that have had issue with so called "free magazine trials' in the past. I thanked her anyway. and directly said, "Nah, its ok." FOR THE THIRD TIME as I bit my tongue growing impatient on this lengthy check out process.

I just walked in and looked around. Every sales associate ignored me!........a man walks in not even one minute later. He's greeted immediately. Such BS. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED.

My face was flush. I immediately went to my bank and began the process to dispute these charges that I did not authorize. This also caused me frustration bc I had to cancel my debit card and order/reactivate a new debit card - which is an annoying, timely process itself. Not to mention all the payment changes that have to now be made from the old debit card number to the new one, all whilst making sure all of my previously arranged payments were still going to be timely made via the old card number or the new one. So one can imagine the time this took.

So after taking the initial steps to dispute the charges, cancel my debit card, order and reactivate a new debit card, contact Sports Illustrated about this, contact Finish Line about this, and complete the process with my bank I wanted to leave this review to hope it may at least save anyone who reads this from being wronged the way I was.

I am not one that takes any pride in leaving a one star review, but this time I am making this review because I was wronged and I want anyone else to see this to know because I don't want this happening to you. And here is why:

Well as I began checking my routine bank account debits I cam across not 1 but 2 charges from Sports Illustrated (SI) The first being $26.70 and another pending for $53.45!

I made a previous purchase at the Finish Line, as I have many times i the past, particularly a pair of Under Armor tennis shoes for treadmill running this time. Unfortunately, they did not carry the style in my size so I chose to go ahead and pay extra any how to have them shipped to me. Because the option of having them shipped to the store for pickup, for free was not offered.
